I think that Mr. K is nice and also weird. According to the text, it says that he wears UGGs every day, even in the summer! His actions make me think that he is nice and weird. Also, he is nice because he tells his class funny vocab words. Some kids can take it too far but he stays calm. That is why I think that Mr. K is nice and weird.
I think that Isabella or Izzy is overwhelmed. According to the text, she hates that she wakes up in a different bed every other week and she feels like it is partly her fault that her parents got divorced. Her actions make me feel that she is overwhelmed. Also, she hates Sundays because she feels like she is a wrong-sized pair of jeans getting exchanged when she switches between her mom and her dad.
I want to keep reading Blended because I want to find out what happened to the girl and why she was playing the piano but not playing a song.
I rate this book 5 stars because it tells a story about a tragedy that is turned into something wonderful. Also, it tells about events that could possibly happen in real life.
Coyote is my favorite character because she is accepting. Also, she doesn’t care what you look like or who you are as long as you are a good person.
Although that this is a sad moment, it is my favortie moment because this shows who accepting Coyote is and how she doesn’t like like that being unqiue is bad. Also, it shows how she can help people.
I think that Ms. Vega is very kind. According to the text, she let Coyote into their car. Even though at first she didn’t trust her. I think her actions and thoughts make her sound kind
I think that Coyote’s Grandma tries to keep things positive. According to the text, when they were talking on the phone her Grandma was trying to tell Coyote nicely that they were tearing up her old house. Her actions make me feel like she tries to keep things positive.
I think that Rodeo is calm and chill. According to the text, it states that he never gets mean and that when his kindness starts to wear thin, he just kind of goes away. His actions make me feel like he is a calm, chill person. Also, when he found Ivan, he was kinda angry at first but than he calmed down.
Leonard’s Horse by Jean Fritz illustrated by Hudson Talbott tells about how a sculpture of Leonardo’s horse and the struggle of making it. Charles Dent wanted to make a life-sized sculpture of Leonardo’s horse. At first, Charles didn’t know what to do. The horse was built but it didn’t look right so they had to rebuild the horse. It was very hard at first but the builder got the hang of it. The horse was finished and they had a party in celebration of finishing the horse!
I rate this book five stars because it has things that happen in real life that happen in the book. And the truth that it tells.
He was my favorite character because when he died the first thing he thought of was his family and if they were okay.
He is also my favorite character because he owned up to his mistakes and told Jerome’s grandma and Kim.
This is my favorite moment because all Carlos was trying to do was to stand up for himself and didn’t want to get anyone hurt.
